The San Bernardino County group was led by Fifth District Supervisor Josie Gonazales and International Trade Manager Moises Cisneros as welll as other County officials.

To promote and encourage activities within the Hong Kong associations, outstanding membership and initiative awards were also presented at the Forum. HKASC president Raymond Cheng was honored to be invited to serve on the Outstanding Inivitiative Award Committee.

Prior to the Hong Kong Forum, HKASC also led a trade mission to Beijing. In addition to business programs co-operated with the American Chamber of Commerce in Beijing, the group also had a chance to get an early glance of the 2008 Olympic sites.

The programme also included with a side visit to Shenzhen focusing on the technology partnership between Hong Kong and Shenzhen. The delegates appreciated the new perspective they gained from this, and treasured their personal meeting with the Mayor of Shenzhen.
