"Hong Kong: Turning China into Opportunity” (March
7, 2006)
The pace of change in China is unprecedented in world markets.
Long a major manufacturing center and exporter, China is
now a chief importer with consumer demand growing at blistering
pace. China is not a market to approach unprepared. Its
size and complexity require a heightened level of commitment
and a focused business entry strategy – particularly for
small and mid-sized enterprises.
At a networking lunch held Monday, March 27, 2006 at the
Omni Los Angeles hotel, Mr. Peter Woo, Chairman of the Hong
Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) shared his vision
on exploring opportunities in the mainland Chinese market
using the Hong Kong business platform.
In addition to his role as HKTDC chairman, Mr. Woo is also
the Chairman of a leading Hong Kong conglomerate.

Keynote speech, "Hong Kong: Turning China
Into Opportunities", by Mr. Peter Woo, Chairman
of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
