Along with the US Department of Commerce, Los Angeles Area of Commerce, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, HKASC facilitated a breakfast program with the ImaginAsian2 delegation on October 31, 2005 providing networking opportunities for HKASC members and guests in the film and entertainment industry. The event took place at the Board Room of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.

The ImaginAsian2 delegation, led by Mr. Stewart Ballard, Chief Commercial Consul, U.S. Consulate General in Hong Kong, was a follow-up program of the ImaginAsian delegation visited Los Angeles in January 2005.

Comprised of senior film industry executives representing four Hong Kong companies, Salon Films (Hong Kong) Limited, Intercontinental Group Holdings Limited, Menfond, and Sunwah Media Group, the delegation was visiting the United States to look for business opportunities in film distribution, production,financing, education, training and conservation.

Representing HKASC and the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide, the delegation was welcomed by HKASC President Raymond Cheng and FHKBAK Chair Christopher Leu in the morning. During the rest of the day, individual one-on-one business meetings with delegates were arranged through the joint efforts of the U.S. Department of Commerce, HKTDC and HKASC.
