Annual Members Meeting and Joint Mixer with Industry Manufacturers Council (Sept 2005)

The 16th Annual Members' Meeting took place on Monday, September 12, 2005, at the Pacific Palms Conference Resort. HKASC President Raymond Cheng and ten other Directors were re-elected to continue serving on the Board for another term.

Following the Meeting, a Joint Mixer co-organized with the Industry Manufacturers Council was held. The new HKASC Board of Directors and the 150 guests attending the event were welcomed by Donald Sachs, Executive Director of the Industry Manufacturers Council and other officials representing City of Industry.

 

   

 

Drawing of one roundtrip Los Angeles/Hong Kong ticket, courtesy of Cathay Pacific Airways, and other door prizes was conducted by HKASC Director Wilson Tang and City of Industry Executive Director Donald Sachs. The ticket to Hong Kong was presented to lucky winner Edward Ho by Jonathan Chau, Account Manager, Cathay Pacific Airways.

 

   

 

Other door prizes presented by HKASC President Raymond Cheng included two admission tickets to Hong Kong Disneyland newly opened on September 12, Roxy Trading's Mooncake, Super Growth's health products,

 

and other goodies donated by Southern California Edison and the supporting associations.

 

 

HKASC members also enjoyed networking opportunities with their City of Industry business counterparts.
   
   

 

The event was sponsored by Cathay Pacific Airways, Roxy Trading and Southern California Edison. The supporting organizations included Asian Business Association of Los Angeles, Asian Business League of Southern California, Asian Food Trade Association, Singapore American Business Association of Southern California, Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association, Southern California Monte Jade Science & Technology Association, National Association of Chinese American Bankers, and Southern California Chinese Computer Association.
