An evening of wonderful Tchaikovsky music with fireworks at the "Bowl" (July 2005)

Members of HKASC spent a wonderful evening with their families and friends at the 2005 Summer Picnic and enjoyed the Tchaikovsky Spectacular with breathtaking firework performances at the Hollywood Bowl, one of the largest natural amphitheaters in the world, on July 23.

The renowned Tchaikovsky pieces including Prelude and March from Sleeping Beauty, Violin Concerto in D major, Polonaise and Waltz from "Eugene Onegin" and 1812 Overture were made even more "Spectacular" by celebrated conductor Bramwell Tovey, violinist Jennifer Koh and director Arthur Barnter.

The event was co-operated with the Hong Kong Schools Alumni Federation and sponsored by C & L Restaurant, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and Roxy Trading Inc.
