HKASC Represents at 2005 U.S.- Hong Kong Regional Caucus
(Jun 05)

HKASC delegates were front and center at the 2005
U.S. Regional Caucus Meeting, organized by the Federation
of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide (FHKBAW), the
Hong Kong Trade
Development Council (HKTDC) and the National
U.S. Hong Kong Business Association (NUSHKBA) and held June
6-7 in Atlanta, Georgia. The caucus was attended by thirteen Hong
Kong association heads representing approximate 1,750 individual
members from across the United States.
Having served as NUSHKBA's inaugural chairman in
2004-2005, Raymond Cheng continues to represent the HKASC at the
national level as Vice President in 2005-2006. Two other HKASC
representatives, Chris Leu and Tony Wong, were also re-elected
to serve on the board for another annual term.
Network expansion, reciprocal membership benefits
and the strengthening of U.S.-Hong Kong business ties were among
the central issues discussed at the meeting. With the launching
of the NUSHKBA website (www.nushkba.org),
its members worldwide are now linked in cyberspace. For a full
report and photos of the meeting, please visit the FHKBAW website
