Over 600 HKASC members and guests celebrated the Year of the Rat at the Universal City Hilton Hotel on Saturday, February 23, 2008. Some of the distinguished guests included Doris Cheung, Director of Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office in San Francisco; Husang Xiaojian, Deputy of Consul General of the People's Republic of China; Judy Chu, Member, State Board of Equalization; Mike Eng, Assembly, 49th District; Mike Antonovich, Chairman of the Board, 5th District, Los Angeles County Supervisor; and Stephen Wong, Regional Director, Americas, Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
